This week in Routes News:
-Starting August 7, Southwest Airlines will be adding a third daily service on it's route from Fort Lauderdale to Havana, Cuba. The company's Boeing 737-800 aircraft will operate the route, with the following schedule:
WN3924 FLL 09:35-10:50 HAV / WN3925 HAV 11:55-13:10 FLL
-Starting August 27, Hainan Airlines will connect Zurich, Switzerland, with Shenzhen, China. Hainan's Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will serve until October 29, then the airline's 787-9 will take over the route. The flight is set to operate on Mondays and Fridays, with the following schedule:
-From October 1, Etihad Airways will no longer be operating it's once daily service to Dhaka, Bangladesh, from Abu Dhabi. The company's Boeing 777-300 will operate the route up until the it's cut.
-From October 28, Hong Kong Airlines will be cutting service to Gold Coast and Cairns, Australia. The service operates three times a week on board Airbus A330 aircraft.
-Starting October 29, Emirates will be adding a third daily flight to Moscow's Domodedovo airport. The carrier's Boeing 777-300 will be tasked with operating this new daily frequency; with the following schedule:
EK173 DXB 03:00-07:20 DME / EK174 DME 10:40-16:55 DXB
-From October 28, British Airways will no longer be flying from London's Heathrow Airport to Calgary, Canada. The Boeing 787-8 service will be cancelled in March 2019, when British Airways will return to the route.
-Starting November 2, AeroMexico will be adding service to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from Mexico City. AeroMexico's Embraer ERJ-190 will be tasked with flying the route on Friday and Saturday, with a next day return. The route will operate with the following schedule:

-Starting November 4, International Airline Group's subsidiary LEVEL, will effectively rearrange their services in the San Francisco Bay Area. LEVEL will be moving their services to San Francisco (SFO), from Oakland (OAK). The carrier's Airbus A330-200 will serve SFO on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with the following schedule:
IB2621 BCN 13:30-17:15 SFO / IB2622 SFO 19:15-15:50+1 BCN
-Starting November 4, Southwest Airlines will be commencing services to Los Cabos, Mexico, from Chicago's Midway Airport. The company's fleet of Boeing 737-700 aircraft will operate on Saturdays and Sundays. Additional services will also be added on select dates. The service is still subject to the government's approval. However, if given the green light to fly, it will operate with the following schedule:
WN3636 MDW 09:30-13:10 SJD / WN3637 SJD 14:05-19:15 MDW
-Starting December 2, Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch services to Manchester, England, from Addis Ababa, via Brussels. The plan is for Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners to operate the route on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The operating schedule looks like the following:
