This week in Routes News:

-Starting June 10, Okay Airways of China will commence operations on a new flight connecting Changsha, China, with Cebu, Philippines. The company's Boeing 737-800 aircraft will operate the route on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the following schedule:
BK2807 CSX 11:30-15:00 CEB / BK2808 CEB 16:00-19:35 CSX
-Starting July 1, Jeju Air will be adding direct service between Cheognju, South Korea, and Osaka, Japan. This new daily flight will be operated using Boeing 737-700 aircraft with the following schedule:
7C3172 CJJ 07:00-08:40 KIX / 7C3171 KIX 19:20-21:00 CJJ
-Starting July 15, TAROM of Romania will begin flying between Timisoara, Romania, and Stuttgart, Germany. TAROM's fleet of Airbus A318 aircraft will fly this route on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the following schedule:
RO223 TSR 14:50-15:35 STR / RO222 STR 11:10-14:00 TSR
-From September 1, Delta Airlines will be discontinuing it's once weekly service to Havana, Cuba, from New York's JFK Airport. The once weekly service is flown using Airbus A319 aircraft.
-Starting September 1, Korean Air plans to open regular, three weekly, service to Zagreb, Croatia, from Seoul. Korean's Airbus A330-200 will fly the route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, with the following schedule:
KE919 ICN 11:00/11:05-15:45 ZAG / KE920 ZAG 17:20/17:45-11:30+1/11:55+1 ICN
-Starting October 29, Emirates will begin flying it's Airbus A380 to Hamburg, Germany. The A380 will be taking over from the Boeing 777-300 on one of two daily flights to Hamburg. The flight that will be operated with A380 aircraft has the following schedule:
EK061 DXB 15:00-19:05 HAM / EK062 HAM 21:00-06:20+1 DXB
-Starting November 15, Ethiopian Airlines will begin serving Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport, from Addis Ababa, with a stop in Istanbul. Ethiopian's Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner will be given the task of operating this route. The route will be flown on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with the following schedule:
ET760 ADD 00:30-04:40 IST 05:40-09:20 SVO / ET761 SVO 21:00-22:45 IST 23:45-06:05+1 ADD
-Starting November 21, Etihad Airways will begin service to Barcelona, Spain, from the company's hub in Abu Dhabi, utilizing Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Etihad's weekly frequency on the route will vary until March 31, 2019, then they will begin to fly the route daily. This service will operate with the following schedule:
EY049 AUH 02:20-06:45 BCN / EY050 BCN 09:50-20:00 AUH
-Starting December 1, Cathay Pacific intends to utilize their Airbus A350-1000 on the company's Hong Kong to Amsterdam route. The A350 will be replacing the Boeing 777-300. This route is flown daily with the following schedule:
CX271 HKG 00:25-06:15 AMS / CX270 AMS 12:45-06:55+1 HKG
-Starting December 16, Copa Airlines of Panama plans to commence services between Panama City, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Copa's Boeing 737-700 will be given the task of flying this route. The flight is scheduled to operate on Thursdays and Sundays, with the following schedule:
