Tomorrow, May 11, 2018; FrenchBee will be launching its new service from Paris Orly to Papeete, Tahiti; via San Francisco. The new airline will be operating the 2x weekly flight with the new Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Papeete and San Francisco will be the airline’s fourth and fifth destinations, following Paris-Orly, Punta Cana, and Saint-Denis.
FrenchBee is a new airline that took its first commercial flight in September 2016. Since then, the airline has settled to a fleet of three aircraft (two Airbus A350-900s and one Airbus A330-300) and will have five destinations following tomorrow’s inaugural.
The French airline will be the first to offer nonstop service to Paris Orly and Papeete, as well as the first to offer service from Paris-Orly to San Francisco. United Airlines will also be launching seasonal service to San Francisco on October 30, 2018; this route using the airline’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
