This week in Routes News:

-From August 20, AirAsia will be ending it's service which connects Kuala Lumpur with Davao. The airline will fly the route four times a week on board Airbus A320 aircraft until the flight is cut.

-Starting August 29, United Airlines plans to introduce a new daily service connecting Prescott with Denver. This new service will be operated by CRJ-200 aircraft, with the following schedule:

-Starting September 26, Sichuan Airlines plans to offer scheduled services connecting Chengdu with Tel Aviv. The company's Airbus A330-200 aircraft will operate this route on Wednesdays and Sundays, with the following schedule:

-From October 27, Westjet Encore will be cutting it's Toronto to Sudbury route. This route is served up to three times daily, with Bombardier Q400 aircraft.

-Starting October 28, Air China will be increasing it's frequency from Beijing to Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. The service increase sees flights rise from four to seven weekly flights. Air China's Airbus A330-300 aircraft operates this route with the following schedule:

-From October 28, JetBlue Airways will be upgauging all flights that connect New York's JFK airport with Santo Domingo. The company's Airbus A321 will be taking over from current Airbus A320 that fly the route. During the winter schedule, this route is flown up to six times daily, with varying frequencies.

-Starting October 28, Swiss International Airlines plans to intorduce Airbus A220-100 service on all flights connecting Geneva to London's City airport. The A220 will be taking over from Helvetic Airways Embraer E190 aircraft that currently connect the two airports. This route has up to three daily services, with varying schedules.

-Starting December 13, Qantas Airways plans to introduce Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner service on five of seven weekly flights between Melbourne and Hong Kong. The remaining two weekly flights will be operated by Airbus A330 aircraft. Overall the service is daily, with the following schedule:

-Starting December 16, Sunwing Airlines plans to begin a new seasonal service to Bonaire from Toronto. This new service will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. This flight will be operated on Sundays only until April 14, with the following schedule:

-Starting March 31, 2019, Norwegian plans to increase it's summer season frequency between Shannon and Newburgh Stewart. This increase sees flights go from three to five per week on board Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The flight's operating schedule looks like:
