Recently Minneapolis-based ultra-low-lost carrier Sun Country Airlines previewed four potential new livery designs through their company Twitter page. In the tweet, the company mentioned that their employees were " voting between these livery and tail combinations to refresh our look." They followed up by asking their followers to use the hashtags #TeamA, #TeamB, #TeamC, or #TeamD to vote on their favorite livery.
All four liveries have the forward fuselage painted in orange, a dramatic departure from their currently mostly blue livery. This seems to be yet another step in the airline's transition from a more traditional air carrier to and ultra-low-cost carrier. They are eliminating their first class cabin in favor of an all economy layout with varying seat pitches at 34, 32, and 30 inches. The airline will still offer a free beverage service, and free in-flight entertainment.
